Elizabeth Marie White

She has arrived! Tuesday 10/23/2007 Elizabeth Marie was born @ 8:11pm. 8 lbs 8 oz 21 in! She was happily welcomed by all! We are home now and if you live close enough we'd love to introduce her to you! Mom and baby are doing fine, just tired and getting into the grove of being home. Keep watching we'll post more soon.

37 weeks and waiting

Well, I will be 37 weeks tomorrow and as of last Tuesday I was 3.5 cm dilated, and the baby is thought to be around 7.5 lbs already. So they said it could happen at any time. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our sweet addition, Elizabeth Marie! We will keep you posted and as soon as she's born we will get pictures posted. The kids all seem ready to meet their new sister. Please keep praying for us as we transition from a family of 5 to a family of 6! Love to you all!

Silly Nathan & Our Parents

One of our favorite people came to stay this weekend, Nathan!! He has this silly obsession with taking crazy pictures. So while we were eating our lunch after church yesterday he kept getting everyone at the table to do funny things with their food. Here are two pictures of me and my brother that he captured. He even got mommy to use an onion ring as a nose ring--shhh, don't tell her I told you. Anyway, I really like this picture of my brother Elias, and thought the chicken coming out of my mouth was fun. Hi it's Elias here now, I just wanted to show off my parents really quick. The one on the left is my dad whom I am very proud to have as my own. He's our soccer coach this fall. Yep, Jonah and I are going to be soccer stars and our dad is coaching us! None of us really know much about the game but so far we are having fun. Mom said she liked this picture of dad and so thought I should show it off. The picture on the right is my mommy. No she didn't swallow a watermelon, that's my new baby sister in there. We have a name for her but I am not sure I should put it on here yet, what if her name changes before she is born. Anyway, that's mommy, she only has 6 weeks left until her due date (not sure what that means) but she's pretty big. Last night Jonah thought it was a funny thought to give mommy a bite of a cookie so that the baby would be able to take it too. We got a fun little chuckle out of that. I am loving kindergarten and learning how to write my letters and sound words out. Okay, I have to go play with some toys in the backyard. -Elias

Sweet Kids

Here are some new pictures of the kids from this weekend. I thought these smiles were sweet and wanted to share them with you. They capture the pretty faces of our kids. I can't tell you how proud I am to be the mommy of these 3 little people. Dan and I were just talking last night about how they say the funniest things daily and how their personalities shine through daily. I know every parent probably says this but we have the cutest kids in the whole!!

Toddler Babel (and mommy rambles)

Toddler babel is the best!! Anna has really been talking for a while, and could say hard things like, Bailey (our dog's name) and Elias before she could say mommy. :) But the other night Dan and I were out with her in the store and Dan disappeared from us, she was quite distraught and kept asking, "where daddy go?" It's too cute. She has since started asking that at the appropriate times and even puts her hands up to ask. It's too cute. She has also started saying amen when we pray and last night even said the name we have picked out for the new baby!! It's amazing how a mom who has been through something once or even twice can still be amazed the 3rd or 4th time around. My heart is overwhelmed with love and I cannot wait to share it with yet another little "White". We have just a little over 7 weeks until the due date of our newest baby. We are excited, overwhelmed, and a little nervous about what we will do with 4 kids. But we can't wait!! That's all for now, I just wanted to share how cute our Anna was with her new words.
